This deluxe box offers two treasures of Spanish cuisine. First is the prized Ibérico de Bellota paleta from Cinco Jotas, Spain’s premier brand, crafted from acorn-fed, pasture raised pork. Alongside this whole, bone-in shoulder is a cured lomo pork loin, an authentic Arcos carving knife and stainless-steel serving tongs engraved with the Cinco Jotas logo.

The paleta makes an impressive centerpiece, ideal for family gatherings or festive parties, while the whole lomo provides the perfect companion—a tender pork loin seasoned with smoked paprika. Thinly slice and serve on a warm platter, paired with sparkling cava or bold red wine.

Cinco Jotas’ Ibérico de Bellota meats are renowned for their sweet, nutty flavor, sourced from 100% purebred Ibérico pigs, a rare breed native to Spain. To achieve their premium 'bellota' status, these pigs roam the oak-filled 'dehesa' pastures of western Spain, feasting on up to 20 pounds of antioxidant-rich acorns daily during the fall. This acorn-rich diet imparts the deep, nutty taste and melt-in-your-mouth texture characteristic of Ibérico de Bellota meats.

Your Cinco Jotas paleta is aged for up to two years, when it loses nearly half its weight as the acorn-infused fat naturally melts away. The resulting ham is a rich, deep red, marbled with golden fat, delivering the signature flavor of Ibérico de Bellota. The paleta, or front leg, shares an almost identical taste profile to the larger jamón, though it is smaller and slightly more challenging to carve due to the shoulder bone.

Encased in a zippered cloth bag, your bone-in Cinco Jotas paleta arrives with a specialized Arcos jamón knife, designed for slicing perfect, thin cuts. Also included are stainless-steel tongs engraved with the Cinco Jotas logo, providing a safe way to transfer slices to a serving platter. While no holder is included, we recommend using one to secure the paleta for safe, precise carving.
