5J, arguably Spain's most famous producer of Jamón Ibérico de Bellota, will begin offering their first product for sale in September. The company, also known as Sanchez Romero Carvajal Cinco Jotas, is based in the town of Jabugo, a name that has become synonymous with top quality Ibérico ham. The first Ibérico to be offered will be the front shoulder hams, called paletas. The flagship Jamón Ibérico de Bellota take longer to cure and will be available in 2012.
